Al was there within a day after I called. We bought a new house and the dryer vent was almost totally obstructed. Al had it taken care of in less than 45 minutes. Everything done (and cleaned up) with courtesy and professionalism. 5 stars.

Wow! What a great experience working with Al from Dryer Geeks! Our dryer vent was clogged and I called his company; fortunately, he happened to be in the area. He was able to pop by, asess the situation, rectify the problem and give some great insight into what was going on. He was professional, courteous, and super kind. My husband and I were especially grateful for the promptness and efficiency of his visit since we are in the midst of doing lots of baby laundry. Would recommend this company for sure!

Had a great experience with Al and DryerGeeks. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly and easy to work with. Our dryer had been exhausting directly into the crawl space, and Al installed a completely new vent to properly exhaust it outside. He did a great job and took care of several small things along the way that I hadn’t even asked him to do, simply because he noticed them and knew they should be addressed. You can tell he really knows his work and takes pride in doing things the right way. The whole process was easy. Al explained what he was doing, answered my questions, and gave me some useful recommendations for keeping the dryer and vent running properly going forward. Really happy with the work and the overall experience. I would absolutely use Al again and would highly recommend DryerGeeks to anyone who needs dryer vent work.

Built around your property

Suffolk properties have different vent routes.
We start with yours.

A basement laundry in western Suffolk, a condo with a roof outlet, and a seasonal East End property can each present different access needs. Tell us how the dryer performs, where the laundry room is located, and whether you know where the vent exits. Those details help us plan the inspection.

Which Suffolk County communities do you serve?

Dryer Geeks offers dryer vent services across Suffolk County, from western Suffolk communities through the East End. The directory below links to local service information. Share your address, property type, and access needs when booking so we can confirm availability and the scope of the visit.

What does dryer vent cleaning include?

We start by evaluating the accessible exhaust system, then remove lint and debris from the serviceable vent path and review the findings. A damaged duct, difficult-to-access section, or unsuitable route may need a separate repair or other work; we explain those conditions before recommending the next step.

How much does dryer vent cleaning cost in Suffolk County?

Pricing depends on vent length, the amount of buildup, access to the dryer and outdoor outlet, and whether the system needs repairs. Ask Dryer Geeks for a free inspection and an estimate for your property. Cleaning, repairs, and other work are priced separately; confirm the scope and any location-specific arrangements when booking.

How long will the appointment take?

Timing depends on the route, accessibility, amount of buildup, and whether repairs are needed. When you schedule, tell us where the dryer is located, where it vents outside, and what symptoms you have noticed so we can discuss the appointment.

How often should a dryer vent be cleaned?

Most homes should plan on annual dryer vent cleaning. Heavy laundry use, a longer route, or recurring airflow problems may call for more frequent attention. Follow the dryer manufacturer’s maintenance guidance and ask about a schedule that fits your system.

Will cleaning fix a dryer that takes too long to dry?

Cleaning can help when lint is restricting an otherwise serviceable vent. Slow drying can also come from damaged ductwork, a blocked outlet, an inefficient route, or an appliance problem. Inspection helps distinguish the vent conditions we can address from issues that may need appliance service.

Can you work on roof vents, condos, and commercial properties?

We service a range of home and business dryer exhaust systems, including routes with elevated outlets and multi-unit properties. Tell us about roof access, shared ductwork, building rules, or management approval when scheduling so we can confirm the scope and access requirements.

Do you serve the Hamptons, North Fork, and Shelter Island?

Our Suffolk directory includes communities in the Hamptons, on the North Fork, and on Shelter Island. Contact us with the property address to confirm scheduling and access arrangements. Mention ferry travel, seasonal occupancy, gates, or building requirements before the appointment.

Do I need to be home, and how should I prepare?

An adult should be present at the start of service. Clear a safe path to the laundry area and let us know about gates, pets, parking, or building access. In many cases you do not need to stay for the full visit; confirm the arrangements when booking.
